The FARFALLA User Guide
FARFALLA v1.5

Chris Walter and Bob Nolty

Abstract:

FARFALLA is a package written at Caltech to manage physics analysis data structures. It is a memory management system which is an alternative to ZEBRA. It can be used to easily produce and analyze custom DSTs. This package is written in C++ and should run on all UNIX platforms.

Although FARFALLA applications are written in C++ it is quite easy to incorporate them with existing FORTRAN routines. Therefore one can easily write FARFALLA DUSER routines for DREAM and also call CERNLIB routines such as HBOOK etc. from FARFALLA.

This manual will give you an overview of the FARFALLA package, and introduce you to some concepts of C/C++ programming.
