RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN HEAVY FLAVOR MESON SPECTROSCOPY More than 30 years after the discovery of c-quark, the heavy flavor spectroscopy keeps surprising us. The multitude of new bound states found in recent years outnumbers the available slots in ccbar spectrum. This fact leads to exciting necessity to incorporate new, unconventional ways of particle formation -- multi-quark states, meson "molecules", "hybrids" etc. Discoveries of charged states, such as D_sJ or Z(4430), may support some of these theories. In this talk recent experimental developments in charmonium sector are summarized. The main theoretical models explaining unusual states are also covered.
